I am commanded by the Air Jouncil to forward for the information of Viscount Milner a copy of a letter received from 'r. A.G.Lampluch. This gentleman is the holder of a pilots licence for passenger carrying which expires on the 12th instant. Before this licence can be renewed, it is necessary that he should be medically re-examined as laid down in the Air Navigation Directions II. 7. I am there- fore to request that you will move Lord Milner to be so
od as to enquire of the Government of Hong Kong whether And to what extent facilities are available in that Colony for the medical examin- tion of such candidates according to the standards applied in this country, as shown in Air Navigation Directions and C.A..ublication 1 forwarded

As regards the case of r. Lamplugh, the Air Council ould be glad if a copy of the proceedings at the "edical Board, which has presumably now been held, could be forwarded to them so that they may be in position to consider whether the nature of the examination is of such a kind as to Terrant them in renewing his licence.
